The Journey of the MooMoo MovieMakers began in March 2016 when James Thuppayath had ambitions to create a Short Film. He approached his friends Lionel Norvin and Sharath Ullas and the filming of the Killing Rats short film was underway in April 2016 after the script was complete. The editing of the film was postponed and which kept the movie’s release on hold.

 

On September 2016, Jeff Aaron, Stephen and Joshua Johnson joined the team and made the collaborative effort of Unpeeled (the first of three). The movie completed edition and was released on the same month. The success of the Unpeeled short film re-initiated the editing works of Killing Rats, which was released the following month.

 

The sequel to the Unpeeled film - Unpeeled 2 - was released the following year after 5 months in February 2017. The next MooMoo MovieMakers production however, was kept on hold due to educational purposes.

 

The third installment and final chapter to the Unpeeled franchise - Unpeeled 3 - released a year and a half or 18 months after its prequel. The film received city-wide acclaim for its wonderful use of humour, visual effects and dexterous story-telling skill.

 

Unpeeled 3 was supposed to be the final collaborative effort of the MooMoo team as the 7 of the gang parted ways for college. Though, the future is unpredictable and so is the MooMoo gang, so there may yet be another installment awaiting your zeal.
