How would I describe this show in one word?
Sample word.
Note
So I just finished watching Death Note. Kind of understood why this was on top of everyone's recommendations list.
Review Death note is a fantasy, crime fiction drama revolving around the exploits of a young man who aims at making a utopian world using a supernatural book that kills anyone who’s name is written on it and the efforts of law enforcement agencies to capture him. The script of the series is a quintessential example of effective, detailed and intelligent screenwriting. Fans of Sherlock Holmes and other shows with clever and psychologically intense plots will definitely enjoy Death Note.
Nevertheless, I personally felt the series couldn’t maintain its initial momentum after the death of a particular character. Furthermore, I was kind of infuriated by the climax and I literally had to find momentary satisfaction by watching an alternate ending on YouTube 101, but fairly, the climax they adopted was the most suitable one in terms of providing the ultimate message of the series. It’s no surprise why many consider this to be the greatest anime of all time. I'd give it… RATING: 9/10
