Updated: Apr 8, 2019

Sample Premise.

When a lonely teenager skips his morning lessons to sit in a lovely garden, he meets a mysterious older woman who shares his feelings of alienation.

How would I describe this film in one word?

Sample word.

Note Here's the next Makato Shinkai film review.

Review I don't know if I should call this a film or an extravagant display of sublime animation. It’s more than just a movie, it’s an experience. The plot revolves around the unlikely friendship of a 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old lady, spanning a mere 46 minutes. Yeah, it’s way too short so it fails to fully captivate the viewer's attention to the plot, inspite of the realistic theme it’s trying to convey.

You’re more likely to enjoy the general beauty of this film's animation than everything else, I just can’t find enough words to describe how mesmerizing it is. The love and rain combo was always a mystical killer and that’s exemplified in

this film. If you’re interested in aesthetic animation without any emphasis on a strong story line, this is a must watch. I’d

give this… RATING: 7.5/10

Director: Makoto Shinkai Rated: TV-14 Runtime: 46 min Genre: Animation, Drama, Romance Starring: Miyu Irino, Kana Hanazawa, Fumi Hirano
