How would I describe this show in one word?
Sample word.
Note
I never faced the trouble of infamous Japanese fan services until now.
Review What is this?! Two gamer siblings being taken over to a world built on games sounds fictional enough, but what ensues is baffling. ‘No Game, No Life’ seems to be desperately attempting to reach borderline hentai with ecchi/harem themes and even LOLIS! … LOLIS! The point of some main characters is to appeal to the sexual fantasies of middle aged weebs hanging out in their imaginary walfus with God-forbidden fetishes than contributing to the actual plot. I was totally cool with it until it felt like an actual hentai. The story lacks proper character development with unexplained plot points.
On the bright side, the animation was unique and fantastic, filled with vivid and bright colors, guess that’s what you’d expect from Mad House. The protagonists are geniuses and the fan service characters might appeal to you if you don’t mind some lewd content. Even though it’s just 12 episodes, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who expects a certain level of quality in terms of story and characters. Considering its popularity and global ranking by fans, I expected a lot more, but it seems like the fan service is what people really enjoyed about this anime which had greater potential. I'd give it… RATING: 7/10
