Two like-minded detectives partners up to locate a missing actress.

How would I describe this film in one word?
Hilarious.
Note A dark comedy that'll make you wonder why you haven't seen more. The chemistry works as well as ghee roast and sambhar.
Review
Hil-ari-ous. I love a good entertainer. Who doesn't? But unfortunately for me, I'm not the kind of guy who bursts out laughing for a comedy movie. By that I mean, burst out laughing, not a mere chuckle - I do that occasionally every so often for some films. But generally for comedies, I just have some chuckles and just end up LOL-ing at maybe just a single scene in a movie and I'd be satisfied. But this movie was different, there were so many hilarious moments in this movie, so many hilarious dialogues exemplified by exquisite acting from Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling (a side note, that little girl was really interesting too and not just some troublesome idiotic young kid who slows things down) who just breathed their characters to life and gave out a truly comedic performance. Again, I'm not the kind who expresses his emotions especially for comedy outwardly, but this one got me, and boy was that refreshing - such a original movie. Not only was it rare for being a movie that I laughed out loud to, it was rare for being a good comedy, cause that's SO VERY rare nowadays. And how can I not give props to the sheer hilarity of it. Maybe the one thing I found flawed was the story may have gotten a bit too complicated at times with so much detail that you couldn't keep up with everything but maybe that's just because I was so focused on eating my ice cream. But that was minor and didn't stop me from having a good time and also another good thing about that unfortunate circumstances is that I can watch the movie again - which I'm excited for cause it's gonna be drop-dead-funny awesome and I'm sure I could most definitely understand it then.
