A documentary of Liverpool legend and former captain: Steven Gerrard.

How would I describe this film in one word?
Inspirational.
Note Inspirational. I'm not exactly sure if a documentary qualifies as a film, but it was inspirational nonetheless. This review may definitely be influenced by bias as I'm a Liverpool fan.
Review
Steven Gerrard - born, bred, trained, developed, played in and for Liverpool. He lived in the city and lived for the club. Breathed Gerry and the Pacemakers. This is the legendary player Make Us Dream has on display for us. It journeys the viewers of his life from a wee lad of 9 years training in the youth academy, to a grown 38-year-old adult managing the youth academy. We are made to embrace the illustrious 20-year-old career decorated with trophies, unforgettable nights, nightmares and heartbreaks. Through it all we are presented with a boy who just loves his club too much to walk away from it. At times during the film's 100 minute runtime, you feel it strays away from it's subject matter - Gerrard - and focus on just the club, but you realise that the two are almost one with the amount of influence the man had on Liverpool. It illustrates not only the story of Gerrard for the past 30 years, not just of Liverpool, but of football. How wonderful. A wonderful film made with heart, and with passion, just like the number 8. The kind of man he is, strong, fierce, persevering, able to take a mountain of pressure and leadership stress, is truly inspirational. Quite the feel-good film. Felt the right rating for this should be 8. Then realised shortly afterwards how fitting it was.
