A video game character's game is at risk of being discontinued, unless they venture into the internet to set amends.

How would I describe this film in one word?
Interesting.
Note Interesting. Creative? Maybe. I just found it trying a bit too hard to be creative but it was interesting nonetheless.
Review
I was going into this movie with a lot of expectations. Rather, I was going into this movie, expecting it to be disappointing - cause the trailer was disappointing. But that's the lesson one must learn which is to not watch movie trailers. Movie trailers lead you up to a film expecting something, good or bad. So don't do it. Point being, I was misled. It was a great film. It was so much fun. And funny.
I have to be honest here. I didn't watch this movie in a proper chronological way. My siblings were watching it and I thought I'd join in at the 30th minute, finished the movie then covered up the first 30 minutes afterwards. I'm disappointed that I did that cause it was a great film and I'm sure it would've impacted me much more if I watched it properly.
It was a very enjoyable film despite my worries. It was very fun and humourous. Sure, there may be a lot of product placement - the movie is set INSIDE the internet. How can you not? But it's fun to see all these internet brands and references being portrayed as physical buildings. It's a very interesting world. You should know, I'm striving really hard to avoid the word 'creative' - reason being as I explained in my opening statement. It was a fun to see the concept of YouTube-like video-sharing sites and how influential and powerful it is to the common man and how beneficial it would be for the creator. So yeah, rather than getting video game references like in the first movie, here you get a whole lot of internet brand references. How nice. While the first movie conveyed to us, the audience, that the good guy can't live without the bad guy, this movie conveyed to us that neither the good guy nor the bad guy can live without a friend. The concept of friendship is highlighted very well here. The unlikely duo has great chemistry and are adorable to watch. And by the end, you might even shed a teardrop like I did. Maybe the emotion of the moment was heightened by the music. Either way. It was very nice. Technically, the sound design was great and the animation on par with it as well. A proper popcorn flick. Just the way I like it.
